Stay on the web for your home game
Learn the cards, betting, positions, showdown and table etiquette. Then keep playing a table with several opponents, visual chips, all-ins, side pots and guidance through your actions. Use the hand rankings and host display at your actual home game.
What the app adds
Practice hands at Finn’s table, where Finn gives his verdict on every move you make, with a short why and the full reasoning one tap away. 40 short lessons, from your first two cards to tournament ideas. Finn’s review brings back what you’ve learned, spaced so that misses come back sooner.
A poker rating that follows the quality of your decisions, not your luck, plus five fins, seven ranks and badges you keep. Nothing is bought, nothing is lost and there are no streaks. The Game night tab has Who won?, Teach the table, Bring a hand from your game, and chips and a blind timer.
Keep your progress
Without an account you get the 12 basic lessons, the maths labs, Game night and 3 practice hands a day. A free Fish2Shark account (email or Google, and Sign in with Apple on iPhone) opens all 40 lessons and keeps your progress, rating and badges on every device.
Get the app
Fish2Shark for Android is free on Google Play. The iPhone app is in beta: join the iPhone beta on Apple’s TestFlight. You can keep learning and playing on this website either way.
What the training can establish
Original practice models explain their assumptions. Practice results are evidence of those exercises, not proof of live-game ability or a guarantee of tournament winnings. There is no licensed solver or final-table certification.
